Bill Padfield — long bio

Bill Padfield is Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Salamander Advisory, the Singapore-headquartered firm that builds, repairs and transforms technology channels across the Asia Pacific.

He spent six years as Chief Executive of Datacraft Asia, then the largest technology channel partner in the Asia Pacific and Cisco's largest partner in the region, leading the business as a publicly listed company on the Singapore Exchange. He subsequently served as Global Chief Operating Officer for Transformation and Services at Dimension Data, and as Senior Executive Vice President for Global Transformation and Platform Services at NTT.

That career has given him an unusual vantage point on the technology channel: he has run one of its largest players, and led transformation programmes for two of its largest global groups. He founded Salamander to bring that operating experience to companies facing the same problems at an earlier stage.

He is based in Singapore and works with technology vendors, channel businesses and private capital investors across the region.
